Our Staff

GLEN is a Sydney graduate and started in mixed practice before spending several years in the UK doing locum work. Having returned to Sydney he worked in a few different clinics before taking over the reins at petVets as owner. Glen is a keen surgeon and is also very interested in treating pets with cancer. His most recent interest is the use of Stem Cell Therapy to treat canine arthritis. He lives in a madhouse with partner Natalia, and their menagerie which consists of their 2 young boys Zeke and Zane, two gorgeous Burmese cats, Kahlua and Dijon, and a French bulldog, Gucci.

VERONICA is a Sydney University graduate. She spent a period of time in general small animal practice before moving to emergency only medicine to further improve her skills. However the overnight work finally threatened her sanity, so she joined us at petVets in early 2011. Veronica has a passion for cats and completed additional study in feline medicine in 2010. A definite “cat person” with three cats of her own, she recently made an exception to the rule and adopted a small dog named Teddy from Seniors and Silky Rescue.

MARIA seems to have been a vet nurse at birth, she started working in a vet clinic when she was just 14! Maria is a big fan of Rotties and other large cuddly dogs but her heart has recently been stolen by a handsome ginger tom cat called Tiger. Maria is the person to talk to for any special orders such as food and accessories for your pet. Come and see Maria for a free flea consultation.

KATHY is a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse with over 15 years experience. She has a fondness for cats and takes great pride in placating the fiercest of felines (she truly is a cat whisperer!). She is the proud mum of Lolly (a tortie DSH) and Slim Shady (a grey and white DSH). Kathy has a special interest in anaesthesia and surgical nursing. Kathy also provides free flea consultations, and she also runs our Fit Kitties & Healthy Hounds (weight loss) program.

KATRICE is a qualified Vet Nurse who joined our team in 2009. She is the proud owner of a Collie Cross named Toby and a Staffy Cross named Happy. She also has a special interest in birds and has hand raised a couple of her own.

KATRINA is a qualified Vet Nurse who joined our team after 2 years of working in a small and large animal practice in the Hunter Valley. She is a country girl and grew up surrounded by animals that usually became pets! Especially sheep! She loves all aspects of veterinary nursing from client care to anaesthesia.

JORDEN joined our team after working in an animal shelter for some time. She is definately a cat person and is very much enjoying looking after our boarding cats. She has 4 cats of her own named Coco, Jasper, Marley and China.
