Our Staff

Veterinary Nurses

Maria has been at petVets since September 2004. She is a fan of Rotties and other lovable big dogs although she has a cute little chihuahua cross of her own.

Natalie joined petVets in 2006 after having worked in the retail sector. She is currently studying vet nursing at TAFE and has been a great addition to our team.

Amber has worked at petVets since September 2005. Since then she has managed to acquire a stray bunny and a kitten.

Keri is a British vet nurse working with us for a few months over the summer. She is enjoying meeting all our petVet furry friends.

Veterinarians

Margaret has owned petVets since 1994. She is a veterinary graduate of Sydney University after having initially been a human nurse. Recently she has taken on a more managerial role after having shoulder surgery so she can limit the number of big dogs she has to wrestle with! She is often accompanied to work by her gorgeous dog "Tilly" who is well known by our regular clients for presenting anything she can find for them to throw to her.

Emily started at petVets in 2003 after spending four years in mixed practice in the country. She graduated from Murdoch University in Perth and has since done extra study in Dermatology, Internal Medicine and Ultrasound. Emily enjoys working with both cats and dogs (provided they don't bite!). She has managed to resist collecting any strays from work but makes the most of talking to the patients at petVets.

Anita has been at petVets since 2004. She has also spent time in mixed practice and went to England to work as a locum for a short while. Anita went to university in Brisbane and has done additional study in Internal Medicine and Behaviour. Anita is a big cat lover and has two lovely boys of her own, Calvin and Jake. She also has a soft spot for pigs but doesn't really see too many of them here!

Katherine has recently joined petVets after having moved to Australia from England. She is very much enjoying the Australian weather and our more relaxed way of life. Katherine completed her degree in Cambridge in 2003, she has an interest in diagnostic imaging, medicine and surgery.
